Start with a work span, then list each break — a quick 10, a half-hour lunch. The calculator subtracts them all and shows net paid time in hours:minutes and payroll decimals, so multi-break days don't need mental arithmetic.
How to use it
- 1.Enter the shift start and end times.
- 2.Add each break's length in minutes.
- 3.Read the net paid time with all breaks removed.
Questions people ask
- Can I add more than one break?
- Yes — add as many as the day had. Each row is deducted from the gross span and the running net updates as you type.
- What if breaks exceed the shift?
- The result floors at zero and the tool flags that the breaks are longer than the span, which usually means a typo in the times.
